Prague Floorball Cup is an international youth floorball tournament that takes place traditionally on the first January weekend in Prague. Last year, 249 teams from 8 countries participated. The tournament offers a great opportunity to measure strength with European teams in the middle of the season. Winter Prague, with the accompanying program of the tournament, is also an ideal place for teambuilding.
Prague Floorball Cup is famous for its unique friendly atmosphere. The tournament culminates in a grand finals in the modern hall UNYP Arena Podvinný mlýn and Sokol Královské Vinohrady. There the winners get the unique challenge cup called The Cup which is, according to the organizers' designs, originally created specifically for PFC.
The history of the Prague Floorball Cup began in 2017, when 80 youth floorball teams from the Czech Republic and other European countries came to Prague. Since then, the tournament has been growing, the number of participants has tripled and the number of both Czech and foreign teams has increased. The tournament takes place in more and more halls all over Prague.
Teams from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Finland, Sweden and Austria participate in the tournament every year. PFC thus offers ideal conditions for meeting many floorball cultures and personalities that lead to the exchange of valuable experience.
