During winter time, Prague offers various places where you can go ice skating outdoors. You can choose from rinks located in the historical city center like Ovocný trh or Na Františku or some spots that are a bit further from the center like Letná field or Tower Ice park below the famous Žižkov Tower. Several shopping malls like Galerie Harfa, Arkády Pankrác, Centrum Černý Most offer this possibility too. Usually the places also include ice skates rental.
Fancy for some culture? The historical building of National Theatre is cultural experience itself. You can choose from variety of ballets and operas and be a part of amazing spectacle in great space.
You might need to recharge your energy after all these experiences. You can easily do it over a cup of coffee in one of traditional cafés with long history. Café Louvre was established in 1902 and it was very popular among artists and scientists. Franz Kafka or Albert Einstein used to spend a lot of time there. HRADČANY FROM CHARLES BRIDGE
The famous panorama of Hradčany is really breathtaking. The best way how to experience it is to walk across the Charles Bridge – the oldest bridge in Prague lined with dozens of baroque statues. The legend says, that there were eggs used while building this bridge to strengthen it! Usually, it can be quite overcrowded. We have a smart tip for you!
