Preparations for the next year of the Prague Floorball Cup are in full swing and the participating teams from the Czech Republic and abroad are being confirmed. Even this year, for the first time in May, there will be no shortage of competition. There will be clashes between teams that have their senior colleagues in the men's Super League or the Women's Extralize with teams from Sweden, Germany, Latvia and Slovakia. In addition, there may be an interesting mix of players between categories.
 
"We have carefully chosen the date for the Prague Floorball Cup and it is not accidental. The original January term uses the gaps after the Christmas holidays and we will be looking forward to young floorball players at the beginning of 2023. However, we have decided that it is time to add a second tournament, May, which offers a lot of interesting opportunities," explains one of the organizers Jakub Eichler.
 
The Prague Floorball Cup Spring 2022 will take place from 6 to 8 May, ie one month after the Czech 2022 Floorball Superfinal, and all domestic youth competitions should be completed.
 
"Coaches will have two options for their teams. They can arrive in a group that played the whole season and thus extend the top of the year by a few weeks in an effort to win the title at PFC Spring. Or, after the end of the year, the team will start preparing in a new line-up for the 2022/23 season, and the rejuvenated selections can gain valuable experience, which they will then use in the next league year. In any case, it can be very interesting," adds Eichler.
